It's with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Ted Fallon. He was a lovely young man, with a big heart. He will be sorely missed by all of us. His Mum wants to let all his friends know what has happened, so please read her message below.... RIP Ted.

I’m Ted’s mum. We want to let the village know about Ted. Many of you know him, and I know he was friendly with lots of you. Please pass this on to those who knew him who don’t have Facebook. I think it would make things easier for me to know the village is aware of what has happened.
Ted died yesterday, late afternoon, at Northern General Hospital. He was walking back to the village on Sunday and died after an RTC. He suffered severe brain damage and his heart had stopped. I’m told he wouldn’t have known what happened because it was so quick; the impact caused excessive bleeding in his brain and multiple fractures to his skull.
We were with him when he died in hospital. He had been put in an induced coma on Sunday and his ventilator was removed yesterday so he could pass away naturally.
There are procedures to follow before we can make any decisions about anything. The main thing is we want his friends, and those who knew him, to know about the passing of my beautiful boy. I know he was loved by many of you; he was always so cheerful, happy, polite and kind. I hope that you all remember him for those things and not how he went; we are trying to
