This opinion was expressed by Bernstein experts, reported The Block. Since their launch in January 2024, American spot Bitcoin ETFs have become some of the most successful investment products in history. In less than two years, their AUM exceeded $130 billion.

Similar products based on Ethereum that emerged a little later have remained in the shadows — they manage only $9.8 billion. However, considering the market capitalization of Ether (just over $300 billion compared to $2.1 trillion for Bitcoin), such a gap is quite understandable, analysts noted.

The uniqueness of Ethereum lies in its role as a decentralized computer, experts explained. According to them, stablecoins and tokenization are native use cases for the network of the second-largest cryptocurrency.
