Tech Rally Fuels Nasdaq-Linked ETFs
Nasdaq-100 and other tech-driven indices have moved into positive territory for 2025, boosted by easing U.S.–China trade tensions and strong earnings from the AI sector. ETFs like Invesco QQQ and QQQM are directly benefiting from this upward momentum.
QQQ Performance Overview
Invesco QQQ continues to outpace the S&P 500, outperforming in seven of the past ten years. As of today, QQQ is trading around $530.70, posting a slight daily gain.
New Nasdaq ETF Listings
On June 10, 2025, Nasdaq added two new leveraged Bitcoin-related ETFs from GraniteShares:
MSTP – 2× Long MicroStrategy Daily ETF
MSDD – 2× Short MicroStrategy Daily ETF
While listed on Nasdaq, these ETFs are focused on leveraged MicroStrategy exposure rather than core Nasdaq sectors.
Growth of Active ETFs
In 2025, nearly 39% of all ETF inflows have gone into actively managed funds, which also make up 94% of this year’s new ETF launches. Notable names include JEPQ and JEPI, both using covered-call strategies to generate income.
