Bitcoin was created in 2009 due to the excessive devaluation of the monetary system (inflation). With the goal of changing this, the supply of Bitcoin is limited (21 million BTC).
This is also an important factor that helps Bitcoin increase in value, combined with high Decentralization and Security. It continues to rise in price despite its low usability (slow transactions, difficult to scale due to the absence of smart contracts).
Decentralization and Security are two very valuable attributes if any blockchain can achieve them.
Therefore, ML's perspective is: Any blockchain lacking Decentralization + Security should not be considered for long-term investment.
Additionally, consider blockchains with unlimited supply, blockchains created to counter traditional finance, and projects that produce coins/tokens with unlimited supply and high inflation; how are they different from the old system?
