#CryptoFees101 Understanding Crypto Trading Fees

Every time you buy, sell, or transfer crypto, there are fees involved. The most common are trading fees, network (gas) fees, and withdrawal fees. Centralized exchanges charge a trading fee—usually between 0.1% and 0.5%—on each transaction. Decentralized exchanges (DEXs) like Uniswap also charge gas fees, which vary depending on the blockchain (e.g., Ethereum has high gas fees). Withdrawal fees apply when moving crypto from the exchange to your wallet. It’s important to understand and compare these costs, as they can reduce your profit, especially if you trade frequently or in small amounts.
