Solayer (Token $LAYER ) launched a globally usable cryptocurrency Visa card this year – the Emerald Card, which supports USDC deposits to earn a 4% US Treasury yield and provides users with an Emerald Card rewards program.
Deposit USDC = Automatically converts to sUSD, continue to earn 4% yield
How to obtain:
First batch of users: 40,000+ community sales and genesis airdrop participants can obtain the card for free or with a $10 activation fee, and must complete KYC (identity verification).
Regular users: Must pay a $75 reservation fee to join the waiting list, gradually opened. Every $1,000 spent can unlock one invitation code, allowing friends to skip the waiting list.
Application process: Apply on the “Card” page of the Solayer app, connect the Solana wallet, complete KYC and payment (if applicable). (Future plans to support EVM chains and other networks.)
Physical card: Virtual card has been launched, physical card will be released soon, supports ATM withdrawals.
Recharge fee: 1% for each recharge (e.g., a $100 recharge incurs a $1 fee).
Transaction fee: $0.15 for each dollar transaction, international transactions $0.10 + 1.5%.
Restricted areas: Some states in the US and certain countries/regions (due to regulatory or compliance reasons) cannot be used; specific restrictions can be found in the Solayer documentation.
All users (including community sales participants) need to complete KYC again. (Community sales participants are exempt from activation and application fees.)
