#USChinaTradeTalks Trump announced details of US-China trade negotiations.
US President Donald Trump announced that American and Chinese representatives will meet in London next week to discuss trade disputes.
According to "European Truth", Trump wrote about this on Truth Social.
According to the US president, negotiations on bilateral trade with China are scheduled to take place in London on Monday, June 9.
The American side will be represented by Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, Commerce Secretary Howard Latnik, and US Trade Representative Jamison Greer.
Last Friday, Trump accused China of violating the agreement on mutual tariff reduction made in early May during bilateral trade negotiations.
According to this agreement, the US was to temporarily reduce tariffs on Chinese goods from 145% to 30%, while China would lower tariffs on American imports from 125% to 10%. The parties also agreed to create "a mechanism for continuing discussions on economic and trade relations".
Recently, the US president had a conversation with Chinese leader Xi Jinping and stated that they agreed on further trade negotiations.
