Honestly? When I first got to a crypto exchange, I thought everything would be clear: analysis, logic, numbers. Yeah, right.

I was greeted by a pump and dump – these two market clowns who put on a show while newbies like me blink and lose money.

🔥 PUMP

or how they feed you nonsense under the guise of "golden opportunity"

That's when 'someone' (read - an organized gang of crafty traders) starts aggressively buying a coin or stock.

👀 Everyone sees growth.

💰 The crowd runs after profit.

📈 The price is flying up, like I do in my dreams of a Lambo.

And you’re like: “I’m jumping in, before it’s too late!”

And you fly in... Into a trap.

💣 DUMP

or how they take away your deposit while you make coffee

As soon as the crowd packed into the train, those who started pumping abruptly dump their assets.

The price is falling. Panic. A scream in the chat.

You look at the screen, and you see -47%.

Genius, isn't it?

I fell for it once.

Bought the coin for $0.27, and by morning it was worth $0.04.

One thought rang in my head: “Why did I even get into this?”

⚙️ How does this even work?

1. 🧠 Organizers (most often in Telegram, Discord or closed channels) agree: "Let's pump coin X."

2. 🚀 They start buying it en masse.

3. 📣 They spread fake news, inside information, 'analyses' from fake whales.

4. 🐑 The crowd runs after profit.

5. 🧨 As soon as the price peaks — that's it, we dump!

6. 💸 Result: they get rich, you get poor.

💀 Consequences (experienced on my own skin)

Loss of money. Obvious.

Loss of faith in the market. Painful.

The desire to throw the laptop out of the fifth floor. It was.

Volatility shoots into space, and regulators are furious.

Newbies leave, old-timers laugh. Sad but true.

🛡 How NOT to become a victim?

🧠 Don't believe the hype.

📊 Always look at the volumes.

🧩 Get to know the project.

🤡 Don't fall for 'experts' with the nickname 'CryptoGuru777'.

🧘‍♂️ Leave emotions at the door: no greed, no fear. Only cold calculation.

And remember: if someone promises x100 — it's likely x0.01, just in the negative.

💬 Conclusion, or what I understood after a couple of 'flights'

Pump and dump is not about trading, it's about manipulation.

That's when the market turns into a circus, and if you're not a clown — then you're a spectator who pays for a ticket.

And I want to be a director. So I sit, learn, struggle, make mistakes — but with my eyes wide open.

✨ Moral?

Don't be a 'sheep of the market', be a wolf of analysis.

If you have to lose — do it with awareness.

If you win — it's because you understood how everything works.

📚 Learn. 🔍 Research. 🧠 Think.

> 🤝 Well, if you already knew all this — good for you, I respect that.

🤷‍♂️ And if you didn’t know — I hope you lose less than I did.

😏 Subscription, like, kiss on the forehead — if you wish.

Didn't like it? Well, at least your deposit is intact 😅
