In an interview with NBC News, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed that he has no intention of repairing his relationship with Elon Musk, even if Musk deletes his posts attacking Trump on the X platform.

Trump described Musk as having shown contempt for the office of the president, linking the tension in their relationship to Musk's opposition to a tax bill that Trump referred to as "One Big Beautiful Bill."

Despite Musk deleting his posts such as "Trump mentioned in Epstein files," Trump is adamant about keeping the door closed permanently.

Trump also warned Musk that if he funds Democratic candidates, he will face very serious consequences, as he explained during the interview, "If he does that, he will face consequences that will be very severe."
