DEX...decentralized exchanges like uniswap etc can be preferred when someone need full access of his assets and CEX...centralized exchanges like binance etc can be preferred when someone need friendly access and need central authority.

Both have Pros and Cons but CEX need identity of user and suggest how to hold assets and give multiple advices to secure and use those assets beneficially.

Sometimes we need guardian of our holdings who lookafter our assets so that they can be more of us.
