🔴 US President Donald Trump announced on Friday that US and Chinese officials will meet in London on Monday to discuss trade controls between the two countries.

“I am pleased to announce that Treasury Secretary Scott Besant, Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick, and United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamison Greer will meet in London on Monday, June 9, 2025, with representatives from China to discuss a trade agreement,” the president wrote in a post on Truth Social.

This announcement comes after Trump spoke with his Chinese counterpart, XJ, for 90 minutes on Thursday. Following the phone call, the US president expressed optimism that trade tensions could be resolved soon.
