‼️‼️ BEWARE OF THE TELEGRAM AIRDROP
False Hype & Fake Community Engagement*
Many scam projects(e.g. PocketFi, PAWS, etc..)
claim to have "millions of users" but show little real activity.
- PAWS bot promised "easy airdrops" by analyzing past activity
(e.g., NOTcoin, HAMSTER) but provided no proof of token value or team credibility.
Red Flag 🚩
If a project’s social metrics (followers, members) don’t match its on-chain activity, it’s likely botted or inflated.
2. No Transparency:
Anonymous Teams & Missing Docs Legitimate projects share whitepapers, tokenomics, and team details. Scams avoid this:
- PAWS claimed to be from the "same ecosystem as NOT/DOGS" but hid its creators
Red Flag 🚩
If you can’t find who’s behind the project or how tokens are distributed, _it’s a trap 🪤
3. Psychological Traps
FOMO and Fake Urgency Scam bots use tactics like: "Limited-time airdrops"
‼️PocketFi Bot stated that in the final stage
users must complete PoH (Proof of Humanity) using TON. They pressured users by claiming only those who completed PoH would be eligible for the airdrop 🙂
Red Flag 🚩
Phrases like "Join now or miss out! or Only 10 spots left!'are manipulation.
4. Fake Utility and Broken Promises Many bots promise future "Telegram integration" or "game features" that never arrive: PAWS offered "passive earnings" but required constant task completions
Red Flag 🚩
If the only "utility" is earning more tokens
(not real-world use), it’s a ''Ponzi scheme''
5. Exchange Listings with No Value
Scam tokens often list on exchanges but crash immediately:
_How to Protect Yourself_
1. Research the team* Avoid anonymous projects.
2. Check on-chain data*
Use tools like Etherscan to verify transactions.
3. Ignore "free money" claims*
Real airdrops don’t require endless tasks.
4. Wait for utility*Don’t invest until the project delivers real products.
Scammers prey on hope and greed. Always ask: *"What’s the actual value here?
If the answer is unclear, *walk away*
