Trump stated in a White House remark, "Elon and I have a great relationship... I don't know if we will remain that way anymore."

He added, "He has said the nicest things about me, and he hasn't personally said bad things about me, although I'm sure that will come later. But I feel very disappointed in Elon... I have helped him a lot."

Trump also confirmed that Musk launched a scathing attack on the bill due to the proposed elimination of tax breaks for electric vehicle owners.
