Elon Musk and Donald Trump were once close friends. Musk gave more than $250 million to support Trump’s 2024 campaign and helped with government projects. But now they are fighting. Musk didn’t like Trump’s new big spending plan and called it a bad idea.

Things got worse on social media. Musk said Trump had connections with Jeffrey Epstein. Trump then said Musk had “lost his mind” and warned he might cancel government deals with Musk’s companies.

This fight hurt Musk’s businesses. Tesla’s stock went down 14%, and SpaceX could lose $22 billion in deals. Some people want them to make peace, but they are still not getting along. Their strong friendship seems to be over now.
