In web3, too many people come for the money, so there is very little attention to any information beyond making money. How should I understand this?

Currently, web3 is promoting how to make money, but it does not tell everyone what to do after earning money. Is the meaning of life just to make money?

I often fall into confusion. What does it matter to earn 1 billion in life? What does it matter if you can't spend it? What does it matter if you have 1 trillion a hundred or a thousand years later?

I have come to realize: The value or meaning of life is never about how much money you earn, but how much contribution you make to society/civilization. Or to put it less grandly, part of the meaning of life is reflected in helping others.

At least I think this counts as part of realizing the meaning of life.

The path to realizing the value of life should never only be through making money. Sometimes providing help within one’s ability is also a better choice.

Binance does just that. Of course, whether it’s KOLs, media, or Binance itself, very little has been publicized about charity, leading to a lack of awareness among many people; perhaps many have never heard of Binance Charity.

(I think Binance itself doesn’t publicize much out of a sense of responsibility to the industry, not wanting to use charity as a way to attract new users or profit.)

So in this article, I don’t talk about how to help everyone make money, but just want to call on everyone to see what Binance Charity @BinanceBCF is doing and also try to do it: charity doesn’t depend on the amount; help doesn’t depend on how much.

Current data results
Currently, Binance Charity has initiated 36 donations, raising a total of 111 million USD, benefiting over 2 million people, covering 54 countries and regions. In fact, everyone can see that Binance has the world in mind, not just a part of it.

From the Wuhan pandemic to the Morocco earthquake, from fighting hunger to providing lunch, from protecting habitats to the Tree Millions planting program, Binance Charity covers various fields from natural disasters to unexpected epidemics, from daily education to food and nutrition, and from environmental protection to wildlife habitat protection.

Here are a few examples:

4. I donated 0.1 BNB for the disaster-affected people from the two earthquakes in southern Turkey and Syria to test the entire donation process. It was very smooth.

图像Transparency of donations
1. All recipients will create cryptocurrency wallets to receive donated funds, with no intermediaries such as third-party charitable organizations. Recipients will be able to use the received cryptocurrency donations to exchange for goods from local suppliers/retailers. All these transactions will be recorded on the blockchain, allowing everyone to supervise.

2. For each project, Binance Charity will publish every donation received and each amount allocated to the final recipients on its website. All records include a hash, making it easy for everyone to confirm the flow of donation information is transparent.

Some thoughts extended along the way
1. The mission of Binance Charity goes beyond regional or narrow interests, reflecting its responsibility as a leader in the industry. Among the exchanges I currently use, Binance seems to be the only one that, after reaching the peak, gives back to society through charitable means.

I also hope that more exchanges can stand up; money has a price, but charity is priceless.

2. Thank you to Binance for providing such a platform, which not only allows more people earning through web3 a window to realize the meaning of life, but also helps millions of families/individuals around the world solve difficulties. Moreover, in this way, Web3 truly achieves the goal of 'entering the homes of ordinary people'.

Above, I just happened to see this section of Binance Charity while looking for money-making opportunities on the Binance website, and felt a bit in my heart.

3. Extended thoughts: I personally feel that Binance has grown so large because it is willing to give back to the results obtained from users. For example, Binance Alpha has created an additional low-cost income source for many low-income families, which is perhaps the best form of charity.

Binance lifts users high, and in turn, users will lift Binance high too. This is also a reflection of understanding the importance of giving back.

4. The above is just a sudden insight that connects a bit with my previous confusion. I haven't thought through the framework, nor have I made a draft; I wrote down whatever came to mind.

Of course, I will also participate. In fact, since the year before last, I have been continuously donating to some schools and ethnic minorities in the Daliang Mountains through friends. Moving forward, I will commit to donating a portion of my profits every month directly through Binance Charity to promote cryptocurrency adoption and provide some help to this world.

To be honest: I've written a lot of emotionless money-making articles, and writing from the heart has become a bit unfamiliar.

But I really want to say: May the world always be beautiful, and I hope the Web3 industry and people can contribute a little to the world.
