There are two main types of exchanges in the crypto world: CEX (Centralized) and DEX (Decentralized). CEXs like Binance, for example, offer more security for beginners, as they store funds and have an intuitive interface. On the other hand, DEXs like Uniswap or Raydium provide more freedom, allow trading of rarer tokens, and connect directly to your wallet. I use both depending on the strategy: CEX for quick scalping and DEX to look for "gems" before listing on major platforms. But on DEXs, it's good to pay extra attention to network fees and rug pulls. Both have pros and cons.
