🇷🇴 Romania Post launches crypto deposit machines at post offices

The national postal service of Romania (Poşta Română) has recently partnered with the Romanian Bitcoin exchange (BTR Exchange) to implement a pilot project installing cash deposit machines for crypto accounts directly at post offices.

The first machine has become operational at Post Office No. 1 in the city of Tulcea, allowing citizens to deposit cash directly into their accounts on the Romanian Bitcoin exchange.

In the near future, this system will be expanded to additional post offices in Alexandria, Piatra Neamţ, Botoşani, and Nădlac, aiming to bring crypto closer to people in areas with limited access to digital technology.
