🔥🔥🔥 Many Vietnamese people have owned a huge amount of Bitcoin, worth up to tens of trillions of dong at current prices. At the Vietnam Investment Forum 2025, Mr. Mai Huy Tuan – General Director of SSI Digital – revealed the early stage of Bitcoin mining activities in Vietnam. He stated that from 2011 to 2012, many Vietnamese individuals held a very large amount of Bitcoin. For example, some of his friends owned up to 20,000 BTC, equivalent to about 60 trillion dong at current prices. He also emphasized the role of the Mt. Gox exchange – which was the largest Bitcoin exchange in the world located in Japan, but closed in 2014 after a serious hack. If Mt. Gox returns assets to users in the near future, many Vietnamese who have Bitcoin deposited there may receive assets worth up to tens of trillions of dong. This information shows that Vietnam once had an early and strong Bitcoin mining community, with a large digital asset still lurking in the country.
