Circle Financial’s IPO Debut on NYSE

Circle Financial, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, has successfully launched its initial public offering (IPO) on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol CRCL. The company raised $1.05 billion by selling 34 million shares at $31 each, surpassing its initial price range of $27–$28 per share. This pricing values Circle at around $6.8 billion, with a fully diluted valuation nearing $8 billion.

This IPO represents a major milestone for Circle, especially after its earlier attempt to go public through a SPAC merger in 2022 was canceled. The successful offering underscores growing investor confidence in cryptocurrency infrastructure companies. Circle’s USDC is the second-largest stablecoin by market capitalization.
