💡 What Is a Trading Pair?

A trading pair shows the two assets being exchanged in a trade. It lets you know:

What you're buying

What you're using to pay

> Format: [Base Asset] / [Quote Asset]

---

📌 Example:

BTC/USD

BTC = Base asset (what you're buying/selling)

USD = Quote asset (what you're using to value or buy the base)

🟢 If you buy BTC/USD → you’re buying BTC, paying with USD

🔴 If you sell BTC/USD → you’re selling BTC, receiving USD
