**🔄 #TradingPairs101: Master trading pairs like a pro**
Did you know that not all cryptos are purchased with dollars? In trading, **pairs** are key. Let me explain:
### **1️⃣ What is a trading pair?**
It is the relationship between two assets that you can exchange (e.g.: **BTC/USDT**).
- **Base (BTC)**: The asset you buy/sell.
- **Quote (USDT)**: The asset you use as a reference.
### **2️⃣ Types of pairs:**
🔵 **Major pairs (Majors)**:
- BTC/USDT, ETH/USDT (the most liquid).
- Low spreads, ideal for beginners.
🟢 **Altcoin pairs**:
- SOL/ETH, ADA/BTC (crypto vs crypto).
- More volatility, opportunities (and risks).
⚠️ **Exotic pairs**:
- New projects with low volume (e.g.: SHIB/BNB).
- High risk of slippage and low liquidity.
### **3️⃣ How to choose?**
✅ **Pairs with USD/USDT**: If you want stability.
✅ **BTC/ALT pairs**: If you believe an altcoin will outperform Bitcoin.
❌ Avoid pairs with low volume (or you'll suffer with orders!).
📌 **Advanced tip:** In DEXs like Uniswap, pairs with WETH usually have better liquidity.
