๐Ÿ”„ #TradingPairs101 โ€“ What Are Trading Pairs? ๐Ÿ”„

In crypto (and traditional finance), a trading pair lets you exchange one asset for another.

๐Ÿง  Example:

BTC/USDT

Youโ€™re trading Bitcoin (BTC) against Tether (USDT) โ€” selling BTC to get USDT or using USDT to buy BTC.

โœ… Common Types of Pairs:

Crypto-to-Stablecoin: BTC/USDT, ETH/USDC

(Best for measuring value in USD terms)

Crypto-to-Crypto: ETH/BTC, SOL/ETH

(Used for rotating between coins)

Fiat-to-Crypto: BTC/EUR, ETH/INR

(For on-ramping or off-ramping cash)

๐Ÿ’ก Pro Tip:

Always check liquidity and volume โ€” high-volume pairs have better prices and faster fills.
