Previously on X (Twitter), I wrote about what an honor it is for me to take on the role of CEO of Binance, succeeding the founder of this amazing company. Over the past six years, we have laid the groundwork for further growth and development of Binance. I intend to continue leading our talented and goal-oriented team forward, maintaining respect for the past and learning valuable lessons from it. I am fully aware of my responsibility to our employees and to the more than 160 million users who trust our company.
Our team was created with the idea that innovation should serve the interests of users. And Binance embodies this, offering useful and high-quality products. As the new CEO of the company, I will continue to adhere to this course, and we will all, as before, strive for product excellence and continue to drive financial innovation.
I am stepping into this role with the support of Changpeng Zhao and our team of executives. I will work hard to ensure that the company meets and exceeds the expectations of our stakeholders, and I promise to contribute to the fulfillment of Binance's mission - to achieve financial freedom. Having worked in the financial services and regulation sector for 30 years, I am aware of the potential challenges and opportunities that this industry presents, and I am determined to lead Binance forward despite any difficulties.
Throughout its development, our company has overcome many obstacles, and today we are truly stronger than ever. Over the past two years, we have systematically worked on addressing past compliance issues, focusing on finding, hiring, and retaining the best employees, as well as strengthening our compliance program and culture.
Now our industry is more than ever obliged to pay more attention to cooperation with government bodies. Only in this way can we make the necessary contribution to the development of a unified regulatory framework that will promote innovation and protect consumers. I am ready to collaborate with our colleagues in this direction and I know that together we can achieve better results.

I have the honor of leading a company with a very strong foundation. We continue to manage the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, while having no debts, large expenses, and, despite low transaction fees, we generate stable revenue and profit.
But most importantly, we take our custodial responsibilities seriously and maintain reserves in a 1:1 ratio for each asset. Your assets are protected.
We are doing everything to ensure the reliability and security of the platform, starting with the continuous improvement of the asset storage information system that we implemented over a year ago, and ending with the support of the Safe Asset Fund for Users (SAFU).
The Future of Web3
I believe in the potential of blockchain and its ability to provide seamless access to financial services and international transfers, as well as to reduce transaction costs. We are confident that this technology will give people greater control over their personal data and foster innovation through decentralized applications. I intend to continue to promote the development and widespread adoption of Web3, as well as to shape an ecosystem that provides access to cutting-edge financial technologies.
By joining efforts and achieving cooperation in the field of regulation, we can bring this ambitious concept of a new internet to life. I believe that the years spent as the head of the Global Market of Abu Dhabi, one of the leading international financial centers of the UAE, have prepared me well for this work. I am proud of my involvement in creating one of the most progressive approaches to the regulation of digital assets in the world. This experience allows me to understand the nuances of the regulatory framework necessary to take Binance to the next level of its development in the future.
