Binance usually launches special promotions to commemorate Bitcoin Pizza Day, celebrated on May 22 each year. This date is very significant in the crypto world because it commemorates the first commercial transaction of Bitcoin, when Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC in 2010.

This year (2025), Binance has launched several campaigns with BTC prizes to celebrate the 15th anniversary of this historic event:

5 million BTC rewards pool: This is one of the largest promotions. Users are invited to refer friends to Binance. Both the referrer and the referred can unlock "pizza boxes" with up to 20 in BTC once the invited friend registers, completes KYC, deposits, and trades with at least 200 dollars. Each referrer can unlock up to 15 boxes.

Contest for the top 100 referrers: The 100 users who refer the most friends with the requirements share an additional prize of 50,000 dollars in BTC, with the first place taking home 5,000 dollars.
