"A Costly Mistake I Made With $BOB – Sharing So You Don’t Repeat It 💸"
Yesterday (IST timezone), I learned a tough lesson in crypto trading—one I hope others can learn from.
I initially bought 498,235,284.40939 $BOB tokens for $10 USDT (after deducting a $0.16 network fee, actual investment was $9.92), at a price of 0.0000000197495/token.
Later, I sold 168,481,662 tokens at 0.000000030055/token, cashing out $5.14 USDT. That left me with $9.91 USDT and 329,753,622.40939 $BOB tokens.
But here's where things went sideways...
While trying to set a stop-loss limit, I accidentally sold the remaining 329M tokens at 0.000000086248/token, receiving $28.44 USDT.
Realizing the mistake, I re-entered and bought back 283,537,119.73137 tokens at around 0.00000011291/token, costing me $33.54 USDT.
📉 The painful part?
If I had just held onto my 329M tokens bought at 0.000000030055/token, and if $BOB drops 3 zeroes, I could've seen a return of around $9,000.
But now, with only 283M tokens, that same price action would only return around $8,000. That’s a $1,000 loss from a simple execution error—and the gap will only grow if $BOB continues its bullish momentum.
