🕶 What is FUD?

It's when they don't let you hold peacefully. It's when an "expert" jumps into the chat and whispers in your ear: "Bitcoin will be banned, Ethereum is a scam, Solana has already been hacked, and that project over there is a Ponzi with a backdoor!" And that's it. Your hands sweat, your brain forgets about DYOR, you sell at -23%, and then you watch as the chart turns to +40%, and you can be wrung out like a wet rag.

🧓 FUD is like the grandma by the entrance.

Imagine this: you're walking through the yard with coffee, thinking about DeFi, and there's a grandma with sunflower seeds by the entrance. Her eyes are like Chainalysis, she knows everything about everyone. And then she starts:

- Have you heard that Vasya lost his fourth bit?

- And Tanya's son sold Ethereum, they say he did the right thing, it's going to get hacked soon.

- And what about your NFT? A bubble! Like my arthritis, it inflated and will burst soon!

You seem like an adult, but you already feel a knot in your stomach. Grandma planted a seed of doubt. And now you're opening Binance and setting a stop lower, because "what if?"

🤷‍♀️ Why do grandmas (and FUD spreaders) do this?

1. They are bored (they want to be the center of attention, "I know insider info, I'll tell you, but you can't tell anyone");

2. They want to buy something cheaper (while you're panicking and selling, someone is buying, just like in 2020, like in 2022, like always);

3. Someone scared them too. FUD is like a cold. One sneezed on Twitter, and all the markets got sick.

🛡 How not to fall for the grandma. Don't buy and sell on emotions.

Emotions are free trading, market sabotage.

Check your sources. "A friend of my uncle who works at the SEC" is not a source.

Remember: if someone is shouting too loudly "EVERYTHING IS LOST," they probably already placed a long.

🧘‍♀️ A result instead of a loss.

FUD is not analysis; it's seeds for the ears. You crack them and don't notice how you hit "sell all." Breathe. Look at the weekly chart. Respect your future self, which will say: "phew, good thing I didn't listen to that grandma by the entrance then."
