He expresses the same sentiment about the EU and other major global partners, yet has only concluded one agreement so far – with the UK.
Perhaps he should consider that he caused this situation and that zero tariffs aren't bad for either side!
It's up to him to back down and stop calculating tariffs as if higher tariffs mean more money.
If countries start even partially trading elsewhere and thus isolate the USA, then paradoxically, tariffs could have the opposite effect and reduce US profits.
On the contrary, zero tariffs would benefit trade for both America and the other side...
