Regulation and New Cryptocurrencies
It is a good idea that, before embarking on any adventure in the crypto ecosystem, you are aware of the current regulations on digital assets that are taking place worldwide.
The first thing to consider is that this is an ecosystem that is still somewhat new, which is why many governments and institutions are fine-tuning the legal conditions of their operations. For example, in China and Nigeria, it is illegal to operate with cryptocurrencies as of today.
Additionally, in some countries that already have cryptocurrency laws (for example, in Brazil and El Salvador), the tariffs or taxes on crypto transactions are very high, and several exchanges do not list coins without complying with regulations (KYC, licenses).
