#CEXvsDEX101
When starting in crypto, I chose centralized platforms (CEX) like Binance for their ease of use and support. But now I'm also interested in understanding decentralized exchanges (DEX). A CEX acts as an intermediary: it manages your funds, offers you depth of prices, and provides customer support. A DEX, on the other hand, connects you directly to the market from your wallet, without intermediaries.
One of the most interesting things I discovered is that in DEX, fees can fluctuate, and depending on the network used, they can be much lower. Additionally, the way prices are determined is different: in a DEX, it is based on liquidity and algorithms (AMM), which sometimes allows you to find better opportunities if you know where to look. I find it valuable to learn both models to choose with more freedom.
