Japanese firm Metaplanet ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต just bought another 1,088 BTC ๐Ÿช™ for around 16.89 billion yen ($108,051) per Bitcoin ๐Ÿ“ˆ.

That brings their total stash to over 8,888 BTC ๐Ÿฆ, now worth more than $930 million ๐Ÿ’ฐ. This move makes Metaplanet the largest corporate Bitcoin holder in Asia ๐ŸŒ and one of the top 10 in the world ๐ŸŒ.

Their bold Bitcoin strategy started in April 2024 ๐Ÿ“… when they officially adopted a Bitcoin treasury policy. So far in 2025, theyโ€™ve added 7,126 BTC ๐Ÿ“Š, aiming for 10,000 BTC ๐ŸŽฏ by year-end.

The latest buy was funded by $50M in zero-interest bonds ๐Ÿงพ, giving them fresh capital without diluting shareholder equity ๐Ÿ™Œ.

Theyโ€™ve also reported a 66.3% BTC yield ๐Ÿ“ˆ this year, with total gains of 2,684 BTC ๐Ÿค‘ (worth around ยฅ40.5B).

Meanwhile, Bitcoin price is holding above $105K ๐Ÿ’น in Asia, showing little change in the last 24 hours ๐Ÿ•’.
