BitTorrent is one of the largest decentralized file sharing protocols in the world by number of users. Its peer-to-peer protocol was designed by Bram Cohen and launched in July 2001, and since then it has been providing its services to clients around the world.
The BitTorrent token is a TRC-10 token on the Tron blockchain. The BTT token was created in order to build a token-based economy for the network, bandwidth, and storage resources on the existing BitTorrent network, for example, it seeks to provide a way for network participants to leverage the value of sharing bandwidth and storage.
