#SafetyTips 🚨 Many Binance users have recently received notifications regarding the Anti-Phishing Code feature. This is part of Binance's initiative to enhance user security and combat phishing scams, particularly those conducted via SMS, known as "smishing."

What Is an Anti-Phishing Code?

An Anti-Phishing Code is a personalized security feature that allows you to verify the authenticity of communications from Binance. Once set up, this unique code will appear in all legitimate emails and, in certain regions, SMS messages from Binance. By checking for your code, you can confirm that the message is genuinely from Binance and not a phishing attempt.

Why Are Users Receiving Notifications?

Binance has expanded the Anti-Phishing Code feature to include SMS messages in addition to emails. This rollout is being conducted in phases and is currently available in select countries. Users in these regions are receiving notifications encouraging them to set up their Anti-Phishing Code to enhance their account security.

How to Set Up Your Anti-Phishing Code

To set up your Anti-Phishing Code:

1. Log in to your Binance account.

2. Navigate to [Security] settings.

3. In the [Advanced Security] section, click [Enable] next to [Anti-Phishing Code].

4. Create a unique code between 6 to 8 characters, including at least three of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, digits, and underscores.

5. Complete the setup by verifying with your two-factor authentication (2FA).

Never share your Anti-Phishing Code: It's a personal security measure and should remain confidential.
