The biggest enemy of freedom explains how it “saved” the world (again)

Guess who’s patting themselves on the back this week? Yep — it’s Apple, the Fort Knox of walled gardens.

In their latest glossy “fraud prevention” report, Apple claims they saved users $9 billion. Wow! Huge number. Definitely not suspicious at all.

How did they do it? Allegedly by blocking 46,000 dev accounts and 37,000 scammy apps.

But plot twist: the biggest scammer here is... Apple.

This is the same company that happily hands over your data to government agencies and sells your soul to advertisers.

Sure, the report is full of shiny charts and pretty graphics. You can check it out if you're into corporate fanfiction.

But remember: just because it looks like a superhero cape doesn’t mean it’s not a straitjacket.https://www.apple.com/newsroom/2025/05/the-app-store-prevented-more-than-9-billion-usd-in-fraudulent-transactions/

No one likes to be told the truth.
