Freezing of funds of the cryptocurrency $Libra
A federal court in the U.S. has frozen 280 million dollars linked to the cryptocurrency $Libra, promoted by Argentine President Javier Milei. The measure responds to fraud suspicions that affected about 75,000 investors. Although Milei is not formally accused, his promotion of the token has generated controversy both in the U.S. and in Argentina.
