Nigel Farage promises to promote the UK as a cryptocurrency powerhouse if elected
According to reports from Wu, Nigel Farage, leader of the Reform Party in the UK, announced at the Las Vegas 'Bitcoin 2025' conference that if his party is elected, he will promote the UK as a global cryptocurrency powerhouse. He stated that he will initiate a crypto revolution and presented the 'Crypto Assets and Digital Finance Bill'. The bill aims to reduce the capital gains tax on crypto investments from 24% to 10%, establish a Bitcoin reserve at the Bank of England, and prohibit banks from closing accounts due to customers trading crypto assets. The Reform Party will accept cryptocurrency donations. Currently, the party holds only 5 seats in the UK Parliament.
