You won’t believe what happened! The Bitcoin Conference 2025 just broke a Guinness Record: they achieved the highest number of Bitcoin payments in a single day. This took place in Las Vegas and was made possible thanks to the people from BTC Inc. and BTC Media. Just imagine the number of people using Bitcoin for everything!

I read that to achieve this, they used "Bolt Cards" that work with the Lightning Network. This allowed thousands of attendees to make super-fast transactions at very low costs at all points of sale. For me, this record is much more than an impressive number; it is proof that Bitcoin is moving beyond being just an investment to becoming a real currency for everyday use!
