🚨🚨 ATTENTION THAILAND 🚨🚨
What news! The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand has imposed a nationwide ban on several cryptocurrency platforms. I’m referring to Bybit, 1000X, CoinEx, OKX, and XT.COM. This takes effect on June 28, 2025, can you believe it? It turns out that these platforms are operating without the licenses required by Thailand's Digital Asset Business Act.
The SEC has already filed formal charges with the Economic Crime Suppression Division (ECD) and has passed the information to the Ministry of Digital Affairs to block public access to these sites. The idea, as I understand it, is to protect investors and, of course, combat money laundering. Thai authorities believe that these unauthorized platforms could be used for shady dealings.
So, if you use any of these platforms, get your act together! You need to withdraw your assets before that deadline. If you don’t, you could lose access to your funds and, worse, you would have no legal protection if you get scammed or if something goes wrong. With this, Thailand makes it clear that they are taking cryptocurrency regulation seriously to make everything safer and more stable.
