Report: 97% of the U.S. government's cryptocurrency reserves, amounting to $20.9 billion, are in #البيتكوين
A new report shows that the U.S. government's cryptocurrency reserves are composed of 97% Bitcoin, while stablecoins make up the remaining 3% at #الإيثريوم .
According to new data provided by the analytics company "blockchain Chainalysis," the cryptocurrency reserve in the United States amounts to approximately $20.9 billion.
The cryptocurrencies listed by President Trump in his announcement regarding the strategic reserve of cryptocurrencies, such as Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Cardano ($ADA ), were notably absent from the reserve despite the previous buzz created by the president's initial statements.
These figures, provided by the analytics company "blockchain Chainalysis," offered public clarity about what is inside the U.S. government's vaults following Trump's executive order in March to officially create a national cryptocurrency reserve strategy.
Although the Trump administration did not announce official figures, the data reviewed by The Washington Post indicates that the lion's share of confiscated and stored cryptocurrencies in the United States is in Bitcoin, with nearly $20.4 billion.
