There are two types of market orders: buy and sell. When selecting 'Buy', you are instructing the broker to purchase a specified quantity of the asset at the current price or the best available prices. When selecting 'Sell', you are instructing the broker to sell a specified quantity of borrowed asset units at the current price or the best available prices, with the intention of repurchasing them later when the price decreases to make a profit, a process sometimes referred to as 'short selling'.
