Hey Crypto Community! 👋 Let's talk about trading with Bitcoin pairs! When you see something like $BTC/USDT or $BTC/ETH, what does it mean? 🤔 #BTCTrading101
A crypto pair shows the relationship between the value of two assets. When Bitcoin ($BTC) is the base currency (the first one listed), like in $BTC/USDT, it tells you how much of the second currency (the quote currency, in this case, Tether - $USDT) you need to buy one Bitcoin.
For example, if $BTC/USDT is trading at $65,000, it means you would need 65,000 USDT to purchase one Bitcoin.
Similarly, in a $BTC/ETH pair, Bitcoin is the base currency, and Ethereum ($ETH) is the quote currency. If $BTC/ETH is trading at 20, it means you would need 20 ETH to buy one Bitcoin.
Some popular BTC trading pairs include:
* $BTC/USDT
* $BTC/ETH
* $BTC/ADA
When you're looking at a BTC pair, always identify the base currency (what you're buying or selling) and the quote currency (what you're using to trade).
