US tariffs on Europe — will they be scrapped or not? Turns out Trump can’t bully the EU that easily — some serious resistance has emerged.

The final decision on whether these tariffs are even legal might land in the hands of the US Supreme Court. But there’s no clear date for that yet.

Here’s what’s going on:

🔹 A federal court ruled the tariffs illegal and gave the US government 10 days to drop them.

🔹 The appeals court blocked that ruling — so for now, the tariffs stay.

🔹 Next step: the appeal is reviewed.

→ If the appeals court upholds the ruling, the US has to cancel the tariffs.

→ If not, the case will likely head to the Supreme Court.

And that process? It could take months. Typically, it takes 3 to 9 months just to get to a Supreme Court hearing — sometimes even longer.

What could happen next:

Appeal rejected

ETA: Summer 2025

Tariffs get cancelled

Appeal upheld

ETA: Summer–Fall 2025

Tariffs remain, but the case might be pushed to the Supreme Court

Goes to Supreme Court

ETA: Fall 2025 – Spring 2026

Final ruling that applies nationwide

With trade wars, global tensions and a potential banking crisis looming… honestly, buying Bitcoin or ETH doesn’t seem so risky anymore. Traditional finance is starting to look a lot more fragile than crypto.
