In the US, The FED is independent from the Executive Power. Monetary policy is not set nor controlled by a President, only influenced. The FED is liable for this recklessness.

#Liquidity101 Early this week $DEGO experienced a sharp decline of more than 50% in a single day due to a hack that drained +10M of liquidity from the system. Losing half its value on such low volume reveals the weakness in their orderbooks, i.e demand. An NFT market place selling millions of dollars worth of assets should be able to sustain this kind of outflows. Otherwise, a users will see more and more of this "catastrophes" with or without hacks, every time a NFT Seller cash in their profits.

#TradingPairs101 USDT and USDC are the most common QUOTE assets because people think in terms of fiat. Arcane or Exotic Trading pairs do not use an stable coin as a QUOTE asset, which makes it harder to develol a notion of price levels. Imagine seeing prices in terms of BTC ETH SOL BNB instead of USDT. That is why some traders focus on the simplest of pairs, USDT/USDC USDT/FDUSD which is expected to be 1:1.

A trading pair refers to the value relationship between 2 assets, a BASE and a QUOTE asset, which determines the actual EXCHANGE RATE against each other. The PRICE/VALUE represents how many units of the quote currency are equivalent to 1 unit of the BASE asset. In crypto exchanges, the most common type of pairs use USDT or $USDC as a quote asset. The price fluctuations reflect the change in relative value. For example, in the case of BTC/USDT (BASE/QUOTE), a price of 100K means you need as much USDT to acquire 1 BTC. The concept is simple, but it can be confusing when exposed to more arcane pairs, such as ETH/BTC, where BTC is used as quote asset, because people think in terms of fiat. Trading CROSS PAIRS such as these is complex, when the 2 assets are volatile against stable coins as the notion of relative value chases a fast moving target. There are very exotic pairs out there. Have you tried them? Let me know which is the rarest you have found so far! #TradingPairs101

The working range between $USDC and USDT is narrowing as they consolidate their positions as top stable coins. There was a time it was as volatile and disparate as $FDUSD. The US, naturally has enforced policies to protect from competition stable coins issued by American companies, specially from foreign alternatives such as USDT. Still, the exchange rate between USDC/USDT is not exactly 1:1, sometimes trading above or below 1.000. As for the average user, the differences in price are only evident and a critical factor for trades that involve large sums exceeding 1000USD because you can not trade fractions of a dollar in Spot.
