Bitcoin declines ahead of FTX paying creditors today ‼️
Today, FTX will proceed with:
- Paying back 72.5% to creditors with debts >$50K
- The remaining 27.5% will be paid back in the future (no specific time yet)
There are up to 630K payment requests and the total amount reaches $10.9B, and this time FTX is only paying $5B as they need more funds to handle the debts.
Bitgo and Kraken will be responsible for transferring FTX's funds to the creditors.
