Tether is expected to become the world's largest Bitcoin miner by the end of the year, investing $2 billion in energy production
According to PANews, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino revealed at the Bitcoin 2025 conference that the company has invested $2 billion in energy production, with actual investments in Bitcoin mining being even higher, and expects to become the world's largest Bitcoin miner by the end of the year.
Ardoino also introduced the company's new AI system, named QVAC, which aims to create an AI agent with a non-custodial wallet to autonomously manage funds. In addition, Tether announced a partnership with Rumble to launch the Rumble Wallet, prioritizing Bitcoin and providing stablecoin storage features.
