CEO of Telegram, announced a $300 million partnership with Elon Musk's xAI company to bring the Grok chatbot to the messaging platform.

Under the proposed deal, Telegram will receive 50% of subscription revenues from Grok sold through its app, with the feature expected to launch this summer.

However, Musk later clarified on his X channel that no official agreement has been signed. Durov confirmed that the deal has only been agreed in principle, and he is still awaiting its completion. This announcement follows xAI's merger with X in March, which valued xAI at $80 billion.

Telegram, which recently surpassed 1 billion monthly users, also plans to raise $1.5 billion by issuing bonds. The app is widely used in countries like Russia and Ukraine.

The integration of Grok represents another expansion of Musk's footprint in the field of artificial intelligence, although this technology has faced negative political backlash and privacy concerns, especially amid increasing scrutiny of its use by government agencies.
