1. Dollar-Cost-Averaging (DCA) is the best strategy. Spread out your crypto purchases across the month instead of a lump sum on payday.
2. $BTC is king and $ETH is the tech queen. The $SOL token and chain is the fun toy everyone is playing with. Everything else is a gamble.
3. The above point being said, there is money to be made in altcoins. Read the whitepaper, follow important statistics like daily transaction volume, market cap and price and verify authenticity of crypto projects.
4. Self custody is better than holding on an exchange. FTX was the "too big to fail" exchange that went bankrupt and holders funds were stuck.
5. A Binance listing is the finish line for most crypto projects. Explore other reputable exchanges and learn how to use Decentralised Finance (DeFi).
