I received the PFVS Alpha airdrop the night before last and spent 14.48 in gas fees. I just checked, and Binance has reimbursed me 6u.
Doing things still has the style of a big company; the listing team chose a token on the Ethereum mainnet to issue the Alpha airdrop. I didn't expect that within an hour starting from 8 PM that day, a maximum of 3000 people claimed the tokens and sold them, which caused congestion on the Ethereum mainnet for most of the day, resulting in significant gas fee losses for Binance users, all of which were reimbursed.
Now, project teams looking to launch Alpha and spot projects in the universe will no longer issue tokens on the Ethereum mainnet.
In the future, project teams issuing fewer than 600 NFTs can use the Ethereum mainnet, but they need to avoid the peak activity period of Chinese users from 8 PM to 12 AM UTC+8. If it exceeds this number, they should choose the BNB chain or other public chains and layer 2.
