$Jager
I increasingly like this sentence by Shi Tiesheng:
A person, in the summer of their thirteen or fourteen years, found a real gun. Because of youthful ignorance, they pulled the trigger. No one died, and no one was injured; they thought they had fired a blank. Later, when they were thirty or older, walking down the street, they heard a faint sound of wind behind them. They stopped, turned around, and the bullet struck them right between the eyes.
