๐๐บ๐ธ๐ช๐บ I was very pleased with the 50% tariff quota on the European Union โ especially considering they were โdragging their feet (to put it mildly!) in our negotiations.โ Remember, I am authorized to โSET THE TERMSโ for trade with the United States if we fail to reach an agreement or are treated unfairly.
I was just informed that the EU urgently requested meeting dates. Thatโs a positive development, and I hope they will FINALLY, just like my similar demand to China, open up European countries for trade with the United States of America.
BOTH will be very happy and successful if they do!!
