Thanks to @Port3 Network for the sponsorship
I was fortunate to participate in #Port3的AI社交数据层 the essay activity
You may be like me, just hearing about @Port3 Network the name after its token Port3 went live on Binance Alpha. At that time, I only glanced at the news, but what truly made me stop and think was its positioning in the data layer and the two keywords I care about most: AI and social.
An AI-driven data network, isn't it just another storytelling project?
This was my initial question. The concept of AI in Web3 exploded overnight, with most projects 'riding the AI wave', but very few can clearly articulate 'AI needs data, but who provides that data?'
Port3 is one of the few projects that can provide answers.
It is not a provider of AI models, nor is it an infrastructure factory for hardware acceleration; it stands at the entrance of 'AI social applications', using data to drive the judgments and behaviors of AI Agents. Simply put, it is doing something scarce yet necessary: turning social data into on-chain usable AI cognitive input.
Rankit launched, Port3’s 'on-chain brain' transformation
If you have been paying attention to DeFi or AI applications on the BNB Chain, you should have already started seeing the data of 'Rankit'.
In April 2025, Rankit will go live, bringing the user behavior scoring mechanism driven by AI algorithms on-chain, allowing 'social influence' to serve AI Agents and DeFi protocols in an Oracle-like manner for the first time. This is not just a scoring tool but the first step for the data layer network to enter the application layer.
My understanding is that Port3 is not doing AI, but rather it is the data hub that serves AI decision-making. Just like the 'credit scoring system' in traditional finance, it assesses on-chain user interaction behaviors, influence distribution, and potential value.
A market value of twenty million, yet still unseen by the market?
I have seen the data: Port3's total market value was only about $20 million before the liquidity migrated to the BNB Chain, but both trading volume and active users have seen significant growth. After the launch of Binance Alpha's 2× trading points and 0.01% ultra-low fee mechanism, I tried to place an order, and the transaction speed was surprisingly fast—indicating that it is not that no one is paying attention, but rather that many people have yet to realize this is a valuation logic based on 'data infrastructure.'
Compared to similar projects (like AI + data Oracles, AI Layer1), Port3's valuation model is clearly lagging behind, even worse than some AI tokens that are still at the PPT stage.
Three years of accumulation, seven thousand projects, six million users, not just a 'potential stock'
Port3 is not a new project; it has been running in Web3 for three years, accumulating data covering 7,000 projects and 6 million addresses. This is a rare 'existing moat' in the Web3 AI field, which is also why I decided to continue following it.
Recently, they have clearly been accelerating: entering the Korean market, promoting local community and media cooperation; advancing multiple product matrices simultaneously, including SoQuest, OpenBQL, ailiance.ai, and on.meme. These are not just tools; they are more like laying the foundation for the 'AI Agent ecosystem.'
Written at the end: Why did I choose to participate in this event?
To be honest, I wasn't optimistic about it at first, and even doubted whether it would just be another buzzword creator in Web3. However, after delving deeper into what it is doing, what it has achieved, and what it plans to do, I decided not just to spectate but to truly participate.
